WaterLoop
WaterLoop is a proposed circular sanitation project created by Jane Withers Studio for The British Council. It aims to inspire conversations around critical issues of sustainable sanitation, circularity and nature-based systems, the value of rain and how traditional practices are once again informing contemporary approaches. JSW commissioned famed architect Anupama Kundoo to design the structure and November to design the visual identity and communication design.
We created an illustration style inspired by those found in toy manuals to capture the simplicity and modularity of Kundoo’s proposed design. The identity uses a single typeface, Duplicate Sans, for its balance of soft details and sturdy structure.
